LEARNING PYTHON WITH RASPBERRY PI

I have been on and off with python for about 2 years now. Picking up different skills here and there. I started back in 2015 in Sweden when I received by first Python instruction book.

I’ve only written about 2 programs from this book…

  • Drawing a picture with Turtles: A small flower program

  • Cat and Mouse Game

Each were very simple programs and something everyone can type up in about 30min to an hour. (including syntax mishaps, which I had many of (: ) I will be post my version of each program in future blog posts. I will also be going on a daily coding spree with Python by typing a program a day and documenting what I learned and my experience while writing the code.

The reason why I am learning python is because it is one of IT security professionals favorite languages to fix issues with. This a highly structured language has very strict syntax rules that must be followed. In IT security, python is used for it’s versatility and fixing security issues quickly. Python also has a cleaner execution than most code and provides less exploitable mistakes that hackers can take advantage of.

Python is very flexible and easy to learn. I encourage anyone who would like to start programming to start off with this language.
